The Sporting Goods Industry Online was unveiled
to the sports industry at the Southeastern Team Sports Show, Inc. in Atlanta,
Ga. Nov. 22 & 23, 1997. It is an Internet publication that encompasses
a series of directories and sports information, including :
1. A directory listing Dealers in The Sporting Goods industry on a per state basis. There is no charge for this listing. 2. A directory for Sporting Goods Sales Reps- Alphabetical, with a phone number and or fax number listed. There is no-charge for this but the Rep must request publication by some means. 3. A directory for Manufacturers in the Sporting Goods Industry, with phone numbers. This will branch out into a series of sub-directories for clusters of similar products such as Shoes, Football, Baseball, and Basketball, Equipment, Training Supplies, and more. 4. An online Sports Webzine/Magazine, carrying industry news, feature stories, listings of trade shows for all sports related publications, and many industry links. Plus, archives of all stories, and a web page listing future stories. 5.
